The Shirley Basin project consists of 74 mining claims (607 hectares/1,500 acres) atop two areas of known mineralization previously explored by Utah International. Land holdings in Shirley Basin now exceed 4,452 hectares (11,000 acres). The Wyoming Basins are home to the second largest uranium production in the United States. Total production exceeds 200 million pounds. Currently three in-situ leach (ISL) uranium extraction operations are permitted and operating in Wyoming and nearby Nebraska.
