Copper Mountain
Copper Mountain
The Copper Mountain property is located entirely in the Wind River Basin of Wyoming. Total acreage is approximately 1,500 acres. Of which, Strathmore Minerals owns approximately 60% of the mineralized property. Previous drilling has defined uranium mineralization of sufficient size to warrant consideration as a stand-alone mine and heap-leach or conventional mill complex.

The property was originally discovered by Utah International and was extensively explored by Rocky Mountain Energy in the 1970's and 1980's. The uranium is hosted in predominately Precambrian granites. Publicly available information puts the Copper Mountain uranium resource size at 20 to 30 million pounds.
